ABOUT THE BLOG
Our names are Heidi Straka and Michelle Fouts. We are two teachers who love to get younger readers hooked on books. Together we have 50 years experience in lower elementary education.
In the last few years, we’ve found many different ways to cultivate the love of reading at school and home. With the love of reading, came great growth in their reading skills.
Together, we began a new journey to promote the love of reading through great books. We have created HookedOnBooksABC social media accounts, to share all of our ideas of how to foster a love of reading. Feel free to follow us or contact us for ideas you can easily implement in your classroom.
